Personally I associate digital rhetoric with all things technological. For instance, writing an online article about an upcoming movie would be an example of digital rhetoric. Characteristics of this example are to persuade, inform, and inspire action in the reader, while at the same time distributing said information through multimedia means. Writing digitally basically suggests publishing a work online with the help from technology such as computers and smartphones.
In this age of technology, us as a society interact with the idea of digital rhetoric each and every day. Whether it be email, watching YouTube videos, or reading articles, the presents of digital rhetoric surrounds us.
